ARKANSAS ST over Texas St by 28
Like the disclaimer says in most ‘wealth management’ ads appearing of TV, past results are no guarantee of future performances. That concept reared its ugly head last week when Arkansas State had a 4-game SU win streak snapped as 13-point road chalk in a loss to South Alabama. Going into that contest, the Red Wolves had posted an incredible 21-1 SU mark in their previous 22 conference bouts. As a result, the Jonesboro Wolves finds themselves tied with three other Sun Belt teams with one loss apiece in the race for the top spot in the conference – which means they will be fully focused this afternoon. The bumbling Bobcats have won just one game since starting the season with a victory over Houston Baptist and our allknowing database says they won’t be claiming another decision here. Not with Texas State a measly 2-14 SU and 5-11 ATS away from San Marcos the last three years, including when seeking revenge. Toss in four straight pointspread losses by the series visitor and ASU’s 7-3 ATS record at home off a loss, and we can only look to the Red Wolves here.
