USC over Ucla by 11

Playbook Football (Midweek Alert) - - Miami Florida Over -

A critical game for UCLA head coach Jim Mora if he wants his office keys to fit next year’s door locks, although word has it the locksmith has been called. Floundering with a SU record of 9-13 (5-11 versus Pac12 foes) since the start of 2016, Mora has also dropped two in a row to Southern Cal after winning his first three meetings (2012-14). Bruins QB Josh Rosen did his part to assist Mora’s cause last Saturday, returning after missing 5 quarters with a concussion to throw for 381 yards and a TD in last week’s 44-37 win over Arizona State, snapping a 2-game UCLA losing streak. The bad news for the Trojans is this contest marks their 12th straight game without rest this season. The good news is this game is their last regular-season contest, so they can kick back and get some rest before the conference championship showdown on December 1st. USC brings conflicting numbers to the Coliseum table tonight: 15-6 SUATS in Last Home Games, including as favorites of 8 or more points, but only 2-4 SU and 1-5 ATS in season finales against foes off a win. A 0-4 ATS effort as double-digit home chalk this year doesn’t inspire confidence, but neither does UCLA’s miserable 1-6 ATS record as road dogs of more than 10 points and 4-11 SUATS mark when playing with conference revenge, including 1-5 ATS off a SU win. Despite the ugly
