Arizona over HOUSTON by 3
Talk about quarterback hell, welcome to the NFL today. If Tom Savage (0-3 SUATS in his career, averaging 9.3 PPG) isn’t enough to scare the bejeezus out of you, then Blaine Gabbert (9-31 SU, including 4-19 SU and 8-15 ATS in his last 23 starts) should do the trick. That’s assuming Cardinal QB Drew Stanton’s sprained knee keeps him on the pines. FYI: Stanton is actually 10-3-2 ATS as a starter in his NFL career, including when not installed as a dog of more than 7 points. For what it’s worth, Houston head coach Bill O’Brien is 5-1 SUATS during the second half of the season when the Texans own a losing record. Then again, Arizona coach Bruce Arians is 9-1 SU and 5-3-2 ATS against AFC South opponents, while the Redbirds are 5-1 ATS in non-division games when coming off a Thursday game. Let us know how you make out solving this Rubik’s cube. For now, we’re out of moves, awaiting a report on Stanton’s plight.
