Maryland over BOWLING GREEN by 17
Maryland is coming off an emotional 34-29 win over Texas as 12-point dogs, while the Falcons were overwhelmed at Oregon, 58-34, in Mario Cristobal’s debut with the Ducks. The Terps are one of 1,235 teams to win a CFB game SU as a double-digit underdog and surprisingly, those same teams are 96-65-2 ATS as double-digit chalk in follow-up contests. The Terrapins coughed up a 24-7 lead to the Longhorns, but forced three turnovers in the last 6 minutes to pull the upset. On the flip side, Bowling Green jumped out to a 10-0 lead over the Ducks, but that early advantage drifted away after Oregon scored 30 points in an electric second quarter. BGSU is coming off a disappointing 2-10 campaign under HC Mike Jinks and the slumping Falcons are just in their last eight games as home dogs ( last season). They’re also 0-3 SUATS against the Big Ten the last two seasons, losing by an average score of 55-9. It’s hard to like numbers like those.
