The Huskies car­ried huge ex­pec­ta­tions into their sea­son-opener ver­sus Auburn as con­ven­tional wis­dom de­clared Wash­ing­ton to be the Pac-12’s only hope to chal­lenge for a spot in this year’s CFB Play­offs.
