Your guide to a gentleman’s wardrobe, from brogues to double-breasted suits.
The world's best known valet was invented by P.G. Wodehouse: Reginald Jeeves. This ”gentleman's gentleman” with finesse and principled conservative deportment, dressed upper-class rascal Bertie Wooster in Wodehouse's many short stories. In the TV series from the early nineties an exemplary Stephen Fry in the role of Jeeves rescued Hugh Laurie as Mr. Wooster from the many temptations of The Drones Club.
