Once upon a time Principe was the focal point when it came to men’s fashion. This came to an end when they were forced out in favour of Louis Vuitton a few years ago. However, the company has recently moved into new premises just behind Via Tornabuoni, a stone’s throw away. From Ralph Lauren, Loro Piana to Barbour and Beretta, the store represents a number of classic brands. Just like Eredi Chiarini, Principe has a wide range of products designed in-house, foremost an impressive selection of shirts – from those that go with dinner jackets to cropped sleeve versions. Don’t forget to visit the basement which boasts a wide range of eccentric interior and bath products.
