Lauren Haldeman of Iowa City won the 23rd annual Colorado Prize for Poetry for her poetry collection, Instead of Dying. She received $2,000, and her book will be published in November by the Center for Literary Publishing at Colorado State University. Susan Howe judged. The annual award is given for a poetry collection. The next deadline is January 14, 2018.
