FRED CODY AWARD

Judy Grahn of San Francisco received the 2017 Fred Cody Award for Lifetime Achievement and Service. Grahn, whose most recent book is Hanging on Our Own Bones (Red Hen Press, 2017), received $1,000. The annual award is given to honor a writer based in Northern California for “a lifetime of achievements and distinguished service to the literary community.” There is no application process.
