A prize of $1,500 and pub­li­ca­tion in Louisiana Lit­er­a­ture is given an­nu­ally for a short story by a writer who has not pub­lished a full-length book of fic­tion. The win­ner also re­ceives do­mes­tic air­fare of up to $500, pri­vate lodg­ing, and a VIP all-ac­cess pass to the Ten­nessee Williams/New Or­leans Lit­er­ary Fes­ti­val in March 2018 to give a read­ing.
