Chet’la Se­bree of Mid­dle­town, Delaware, won the 2018 New Is­sues Po­etry Prize for her po­etry col­lec­tion, Mis­tress. She will re­ceive $1,000, pub­li­ca­tion by New Is­sues Po­etry & Prose, and an hon­o­rar­ium to give a read­ing at Western Michi­gan Uni­ver­sity. Cathy Park Hong judged. The an­nual award is given for a book of po­etry by a poet who has not pub­lished a full-length col­lec­tion. As of this writ­ing, the next dead­line has not been set.
