Museum fundraiser dinner is May 6

The Porterville Historical Museum’s annual dinner/fundraiser is schedule for Saturday, May 6, and includes a Santa Maria dinner and silent and live auctions. It will mark the opening of the new exhibit, School Days. The exhibit feature art works from area high schools and early day schools.

The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the opening of the wine bar in the exhibit room and will show case the auction items and provide an opportunity to bid on the silent auction items. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. for outdoor dining.

Songstress Patti Torrey will highlight the evening with her delightful music.

The live auction will follow at about 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $30 and are available at the Museum, Porterville Chamber of Commerce, or from any Board member. For more information, call the Museum at 784-2053. The Museum is located at 257 No. D St. in Porterville.
