Coordinator, Ralph Bourne has managed to snag a talented and award-winning bluegrass band in the form of Grasskickers The Band to set the evening ablaze in true bluegrass style. The quartet of musicians includes Fresnans’ Tom Naiman (singer and instrumentalist), Bob Garcia (lead singer and mandolin player), Ron “Bearrr” Murray (singer/songwriter and ukelele bass) and Dan Stein (guitar picking and harmony singer).
“The diversity of their individual styles is what gives the Grasskickers its unique sound,” organizers said. “You will not leave disappointed and your feet may never stop tapping after the performance.”
Joining Grasskickers The Band is native, Patti Torrey whose mellow voice and delightful repertoire of music will add that extra plus for the evening’s entertainment. Other surprises and Buzzard songs will round out the night.
Tickets are only $10 per person and may be purchased at the gate — no reservations for this event.
“We’ll have a few chairs and fresh hay bales, but to play it safe, you may want to bring your own lawn chairs,” organizers said.
The Barn’s own “Ricky Roadkill” wants to remind everyone that if you get hungry during the festivities, there will be barbecued ribs, hot dogs, chips and snacks, water, soda, beer and wine available throughout the evening so bring your appetite.
