Five arrested on drug charges Sunday

Five people were arrested on various drug charges Sunday afternoon, the Porterville Police Department reported.

At approximately 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, PPD officers contacted five subjects walking away from a “suspicious” vehicle in the 2100 block of West Westfield Avenue, PPD reported. The subjects were identified as Glenn Hunt, 32, Katrina Carson, 23, Sandra Fleetwood, 34, Hannah Pritchett, 27, and Loren Muller, 38.

During the contact PPD learned that Hunt, Carson, Fleetwood and Pritchett had warrants for their arrest. Additionally, Hunt was found to be in possession of about 2.5 ounces of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and Fleetwood, Carson, Pritchett and Muller were in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

All five were arrested without incident and Muller and Pritchett were later released with a citation.

The remaining subjects were later booked into the Tulare County Jail where Hunt was being held in lieu of $90,000 bail, Carson was being held in lieu of $130,000 bail and Fleetwood in lieu of $75,000 bail.
