Garold Dean Livick, 70, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8 at his home in Tulare, Calif.

Garold was born March 4, 1948 in Portervill­e, Calif. to Harlen and Martha Livick. Garold graduated from Lindsay High School in 1966. He was drafted to the Army in 1968 and fought in the Vietnam War. Garold owned and operated Livick’s Truck and Bus Repair in Lindsay for 45 years. He enjoyed his family, friends and racing cars in stock car races.

A celebratio­n of life will be held at a later date. Please make contributi­ons in Garold’s memory to the American Cancer Society or make a donation to the Fisher House Foundation. Arrangemen­ts are being made through Peers-lorentzen Funeral Service.

He is survived by his wife Judy Clark Livick; his mother Martha Livick of Lindsay; his son Gary Livick (Shannon) of Cortez, Colo.; his daughter Lori Livick Mahony of Exeter; his sister Eva Cardoza (Leonard) of Tipton, Calif.; his nephew James Cardoza (Jami) of Tipton; his step-children Kim Pipkin, Jeff Evans, Tammy Cuellar (Mario), Tim Mccarthy and Coby Jimenez (Jessie); 20 grandchild­ren, 3 great-grandchild­ren, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
