Rosalie Purdin Aug 24, 1923 - Jan 02, 2021

Purdin, Rosalie, known as "Granny Goose" to her Great and Great-great Grandchildren passed away peacefully on January 2nd, 2021 at the age of 97.

Rosalie was born in Porterville California on August 24th, 1923. Her parents were Paul and Bertha Ivancovich.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Triffle, Sam, Charlie, and Melo Ivancovich and her sister Josephine Mainord.

She is survived by her daughter Connie Byars and husband Darrell Byars. Her son Robert Purdin and Pasty Holmes. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Kimberly and Lane Holm, Jennifer and Aaron San Sebastian, Heather and Mike Freitas, Jason Purdin and Susan Aguilar. Her ten greatgrandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Rosalie worked all her adult life at Wanda's, Sprouse Ritz, Gang Sue's, Pennywise Market, Portavilla, Patton's Market, River Island Golf Course, Dons Hillside Inn, and Pearson Development.

She loved going to the casino where she showed how much luck she carried. Before retirement, she enjoyed bowling and golfing in her free time. She loved to cook and would often cook for her neighbors and known for her famous Pita. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family where her competitiveness never failed her.

The family appreciates all the condolences. She will be greatly missed.

The graveside service will be Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 at 12:00 at Hillcrest Cemetery
