Two Sites Proposed for New Four-Star

The U.S. Equestrian Federation Board of Directors has named two venues—Fair Hill in Elkton, Maryland, and Great Meadow in The Plains, Virginia—to a short list of potential host sites for a new CCI**** event to be held in the autumn of 2019. Five proposals were reviewed by the CCI**** Task Force, the Eventing Committee, the International Disciplines Council and the Board of Directors. If selected by the FEI, the new four-star would be one of only two in the Western Hemisphere, joining the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event. It also would be the seventh CCI**** on the FEI calendar.

Great Meadow, in The Plains, Virginia, is one of two venues on the short list for a new CCI**** eventing competition.
