Af­ter win­ning the USHJA Hun­ter­don Cup Equi­tation Chal­lenge East with Her­itage Farm’s Charisma, Tay­lor St. Jac­ques went on to top a field of 178 com­peti­tors and win the 3-foot-6 Over­all Grand Cham­pi­onship at the USEF Ju­nior Hunter Na­tional Cham­pi­onship East in early Au­gust in Sauger­ties, New York. Rid­ing her own Di Samorano, St. Jac­ques fin­ished on a score of 253.250, just hun­dredths of a point ahead of the 253.300 posted by re­serve cham­pion Alexandra Pielet and Emma Far­ber’s Gio­vanni. St. Jac­ques also won the 3-foot-6 Small Ju­nior Hunter 16–17 Cham­pi­onship.

In the 3-foot-3 divi­sion, Isha Swani and Shad­ow­fax Eques­trian, LLC’s Park Place earned the Over­all Grand Cham­pion honor with 244.800 points.
