SUMMER MOVIE NIGHTS CONTINUE ON JULY 20/21 & AUGUST 17/18
Precinct 4 invites the community to enjoy a free showing of Moana along with a snack and an activity starting at dusk Thursday, July 20 at Burroughs Park and Friday, July 21 at Collins Park.
In this musical adventure set in ancient Polynesia, a chief’s daughter must travel to a mystical island and return an island goddess’s stolen heart to save her people. Along the way, Moana meets the demigod Maui who she teams up with to fight an angry lava demon and other magical beings. Adults and children alike will enjoy this film’s positive message and memorable music.
Participants can help select the next featured film by voting each month at www. hcp4.net/p4movies. The online polls will open one month before each movie night and the winning film will be announced once the votes are tallied. “Summer Movie Nights in the Park is the perfect chance to relax and enjoy a special night under the stars with friends and family,” said Commissioner R. Jack Cagle. “We’re proud to offer events like these that help foster a sense of community and give residents new reasons to visit our parks.”
