SUM­MER MOVIE NIGHTS CON­TINUE ON JULY 20/21 & AU­GUST 17/18

Precinct 4 in­vites the com­mu­nity to en­joy a free show­ing of Moana along with a snack and an ac­tiv­ity start­ing at dusk Thurs­day, July 20 at Bur­roughs Park and Fri­day, July 21 at Collins Park.

In this mu­si­cal ad­ven­ture set in an­cient Poly­ne­sia, a chief’s daugh­ter must travel to a mys­ti­cal is­land and re­turn an is­land god­dess’s stolen heart to save her peo­ple. Along the way, Moana meets the demigod Maui who she teams up with to fight an an­gry lava de­mon and other magical be­ings. Adults and chil­dren alike will en­joy this film’s pos­i­tive mes­sage and mem­o­rable mu­sic.

Par­tic­i­pants can help se­lect the next fea­tured film by vot­ing each month at www. hcp4.net/p4­movies. The on­line polls will open one month be­fore each movie night and the win­ning film will be an­nounced once the votes are tal­lied. “Sum­mer Movie Nights in the Park is the per­fect chance to re­lax and en­joy a spe­cial night un­der the stars with friends and fam­ily,” said Com­mis­sioner R. Jack Ca­gle. “We’re proud to of­fer events like these that help foster a sense of com­mu­nity and give res­i­dents new rea­sons to visit our parks.”

Sum­mer Movie Nights con­tin­ues with all new movies Thurs­day, Aug. 17 at Bur­roughs Park and Fri­day, Aug. 18 at Collins Park. Early ar­rival is rec­om­mended to get a good lo­ca­tion for your blan­kets and lawn chairs. Par­tic­i­pants can show up as early at 7 p.m. for a craft. Re­fresh­ments will be pro­vided. Bur­roughs Park is lo­cated at 9738 Huf­smith Road, Tom­ball, Texas 77375. Collins Park is lo­cated at 6727 Cy­press­wood Drive, Spring, Texas 77379.
