TOMBALL DEPOT ROCKS TO THE MANY SOUNDS OF TEXAS AT ANNUAL MUSIC FESTIVAL
The Tomball Texas Music Festival presented by Quick Quack Car Wash returns to the historic downtown Depot on Saturday, August 26th with a taste of the many musical flavors that set the State apart from all others.
Headlining this year’s festival is the band that pushes the envelope of the “Texas” sound with their signature brand of country meets punk . . . Two Tons of Steel is back.
Mike and the Moonpies solidified themselves over the past several years as Austin’s premier honky tonk band, and now they’re making their second appearance at Tomball’s Texas Music Festival in three years.
Bayou Roux will bring the swamp pop and mudbug melodies of southeast Texas to downtown Tomball with a Country Cajun fusion steeped in tradition from both sides of the state line.
Direct from College Station, Darbi Shaun and her band will kick off the festival with her own style of Texas music peppered with hints of Nashville.
Festival food, vendors and a kids zone will fill out this fun family festival. There’s free admission and parking, too. Gates open at 11:30. The historic downtown Depot is just off of Main at 201 South Elm Street along the railroad tracks.
Tomball is only 28 miles northwest of downtown Houston on FM 2920 at Highway 249. Call 281-351-5484 or visit tomballtx.gov for details. Follow Tomball on Facebook at “Tomball Texan for Fun”.
