The Tro­jans con­trolled the EDll IRr DlPRVW WKH HnWLrH firVW half as they jumped out to a 6-0 lead and took a 6-2 lead into half­time.

“Early in the game, we ZH’rH SlDyLnJ vHry ZHll ZH were con­trol­ling the ball we were hus­tling and mak­ing plays,” Wis­sahickon FRDFK DDvLG 6FKlHVLnJHr said.

Much of the Tro­jans ball con­trol came from good PLG­fiHlG SlDy SDrWLFulDrly IrRP LDurD FrDnNHn­fiHlG and woe Gomez. Franken­fiHlG VFRrHG D JDPH KLJK fivH goals and added two as­sists and Gomez reg­is­tered a hat WrLFN ZKLlH SlDyLnJ Dn RvHrall solid game.

“TKHy ERWK SlDyHG vHry ZHll, FrDnNHn­fiHlG HVSH­cially played really well, vHry FRnWrRl­lHG, VKH ZRn D lot of draws, she got a lot of ground balls and scored a lot of goals,” Sch­lesinger said. “Then Gomez really picked it up the lat­ter part of the sec­ond half.”

In the end there was too much Tro­jans, as they ended the game scor­ing six of the JDPH’V finDl VHvHn JRDlV.

“It’s a great way to start the sea­son, I just wish it was warmer,” Sch­lesinger said.
