Arthur B. Thorn­ton

Arthur B. Thorn­ton, age 55, of Am­bler, died un­ex­pect­edly on Satur­day, March 23, 2013, at home. Born in Philadel­phia, he is the son of the late Melvin Thorn­ton and Re­becca (nee nueenan) Thorn­ton.

Arthur loved spend­ing time with his grand­son and was a fa­vorite un­cle to many nieces and neph­ews. Mr. Thorn­ton is the de­voted fa­ther of Arthur L. Thorn­ton and Justin D. Thorn­ton of Am­bler. He was the lov­ing grand­fa­ther of Matthew Ben­jamin Thorn­ton. He is also sur­vived by his brother, Melvin D. Thorn­ton, and sis­ters Ju­dith Washington and Regina John­son; many nieces and neph­ews; and one great niece.

Fam­ily and Friends were in­vited to call af­ter 9:30 a.m. on Satur­day, March 30, 2013, at the An­ton B. Ur­ban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Beth­le­hem Pike, Am­bler. A funeral ser­vice at 11a.m. wLOO EH RI­fiFLDWHG Ey WKH 5HY. Wil­liam Ball. In­ter­ment was pri­vate.
