Marian E. Leoni
Marian E. Leoni of Ambler, Pa., professional singer and homemaker, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 201,3 at the age of 85. She was born in WilkesBarre, Pa., to the late Phillip
and Beatrice Caruso.
Marian began her entertainment career when she was 10 years old performing at the “Atlantic City Steel Pier.” She became an accomplished Decca Recording artist, later performing advertising radio jingles. She recorded more than 30 songs, including hits like “My Favorite Song” and “This is the Thanks I Get for Loving You.” Marian’s love of the arts continued throughout her life. She VWDyHG KHDOWKy DnG fiW ZKLOH enjoying tennis, golf and gardening. She was a member of the Barnes foundation art program.
Marian was married to the late Dr. Eugene P. Leoni. They were married 52 years.
Mom was an inspiration and her fun loving spirit and energy will be eternal.
Marian is survived by her children, Nanette, Susan, Eugene and Gregory; and fiYH JUDnGFKLOGUHn.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, from 11 a.m. to noon at Kirk & Nice Funeral Home at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

She was the beloved wife of Eric L. Kratschmer. They were together 15 years.
Born April 7, 1947, Gretchen was the devoted daughter of Marian F. (Murphy) and the late William R. van Horn; the loving sister of William “Mike” van Horn and half-siblings, Virginia Carter, Patricia van Horn and her companion, Laura Sleevi, and William R. van Horn Jr.; the loving sister-in-law of Randy A. Kratschmer and his companion, Mary Bruno and Robin A. Kratschmer; and daughter-in-law of Robert L. Kratschmer.
There was a celebration of Gretchen’s Life at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 6 at the Friends Meetinghouse at George School, Corner of Farm Drive and Meetinghouse Lane, Newtown, PA 18940.

Elaine is survived is her sister, Barbara Friling of Lansdale; nieces Andrea Repko and Melissa Merschman; and her nephew, Jamie Friling.
Services will be held privately.
