Subcut strip into 12 (27/8") B squares. Cut 3 (21/2" by fabric width) strips. Subcut strips into 41 (21/2") D squares. Cut 4 (21/4" by fabric width) binding strips. E • D • Garden Maze CUTTING COMPLETING THE BLOCKS 10" x 10" Finished Block Make 3 From floral print: 1. Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner on the wrong side of each A square. Referring to Figure 1, place a marked A square right sides together with a B square; stitch 1/4" on each side of the marked line. • Cut 1 (27/8" by fabric width) strip. Subcut strip into 12 (27/8") C squares. Cut 6 (21/2" by fabric width) strips. Subcut strips into 2 (21/2" x 101/2") F rectangles, 6 (21/2" x 61/2") I rectangles, 20 (21/2" x 41/2") E rectangles and 24 (21/2") G squares. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to complete a total of 24 A-B units. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with A and C to make 24 A-C units as shown in Figure 3. 2. • 5. Cut apart on the marked line; press open to complete two A-B units as shown in Figure 2. Join two each A-B and A-C units to make a corner unit as shown in Figure 4; press.
