Floral Garden 3. 7. COMPLETING THE FRAMED SQUARE BLOCKS Cut one Framed Square block on both diagonals to make 4 Corner triangles as shown in Figure 8. Join two each Nine-Patch and Framed Square blocks with one Nine-Patch triangle and one Corner triangle to make row 5, again referring to Figure 9; press. Join one each Nine-Patch and Framed Square block with one each Framed Square triangle and Nine- Patch triangle to make row 6, again referring to Figure 9; press. Join one each Nine-Patch triangle and Framed Square triangle to make row 7, again referring to Figure 9; press. Join the rows in numerical order to complete the left quilt section as shown in Figure 10; press. 1. To complete one Framed Square block, select one C square and two each D and E strips. Sew a D strip to opposite sides of C to make the center row as shown in Figure 4; press. Corner Triangles Make 4 2. 8. Center Row Figure 8 D C 4. 9. Sew one Framed Square triangle to opposite sides of a Nine-Patch block and add a Corner triangle to complete row 1 as shown in Figure 9; press. Figure 4 3.
