It’s a simple yet lovely pattern for large-scale prints. MATERIALS SPECIFICAT­IONS • 32 (101/2") bright floral print A squares* 2 (93/8") bright floral print I squares* 4 (167/8) bright floral print H squares* 2 yards blue tonal Backing to size Batting to size Thread Basic sewing tools and supplies Skill Level: Confident Beginner Quilt Size: Approximat­ely 635/ x 791/4" 8" • • COMPLETING THE QUILT Refer to Figure 1 and the Assembly Diagram as needed to construct diagonal rows and add sashing strips. • • • • • Make 2 C B I *Kaffe Fassett fabric collection­s from Westminste­r used to make sample. A H D Make 2 CUTTING Cut each I square in half on 1 diagonal to make 4 I triangles. Cut each H square on both diagonals to make 16 H triangles. E Make 2 F Make 1 From blue tonal: • Cut 2 (101/2" by fabric width) strips. Subcut strips into 40 (11/2" x 101/2") B strips. Cut 12 (11/2" by fabric width) strips. Subcut 3 strips into 2 each 11/2" x 121/2" C strips and 11/2" x 341/2" D strips. Set aside 9 remaining strips for E/F/G strips. Cut 8 (21/4" by fabric width) binding strips. G Make 1 • F Figure 1 1.
