Repeat step 4 with the B/E, B/F and B/G pieces to complete one each B-E, B-F and B-G unit as shown in Figure 9. COMPLETING THE LOG CABIN ROSE BLOCKS B-G Unit 1. B Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner on the wrong side of 96 B squares. To complete one Log Cabin Rose block, select one each A, unmarked B, C, D, E, F and G pieces, and four marked B squares. Trim the batting close to the seam to reduce bulk; cut out leaf shape 1/8" from seam; clip into curves as shown in Figure 3. 3. 6. 7. Lay the pieced units back in place.
