Quilt for Carnduff Red Devils

Quilter's World - - Reader Letters -

I receive Quilter’s World magazine and enjoy it very much. I especially like the clear instructions for your quilts.

I have made two hockey quilts for my grandsons, Ethan and Ryker. My daughter-in-law asked me to make a quilt to raffle off as a fund-raiser for rink improvements in Carnduff, Saskatchewan, Canada. I’m at the far right in this photo. The tall gentleman to my right played goal position for the Carnduff Red Devils for 11 years, and he is the one who had the highest bid of $5,000. Diane FILLMORE, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA What a wonderful way to support your local teams and keep their rinks in shipshape condition. I love it when quilters use their talents to support good causes. Beautiful job!— Carolyn
