Sparkling Cider Punch
START TO FINISH: 15 MIN 4 cups spiced apple cider 2 cups cognac 1 cup apricot jam 1 lemon—zested (remove in strips with vegetable peeler), then juiced (about 1∕4 cup) 1 bottle
• • ( 750 milliliters) dry Champagne 6 cups ice cinnamon sticks, for garnish In large bowl, whisk cider, cognac, jam, and lemon juice. Strain into punch bowl. Add Champagne, ice, and lemon zest. Divide among glasses. Serve with cinnamon sticks. Makes 12 cups.
