Earlene V. Brown

Earlene V. Brown, 85, of Manassas, VA, passed away peacefully on the evening of June 15, 2017 at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Alonzo Ellsworth Brown; one son, Calvin A. Brown; siblings: Shirley Newman, Jesse L. Jackson and Duke V. Jackson, Jr. Survivors include six devoted children: Raymond Brown (Shirley) of Warrenton, VA, Barbara Mayers (David) of Washington, DC, Stanley Brown (Irene) of Fredericksburg, VA, Marcia Tyree (James) of Columbia, MD, Sandra Brown of Richmond, VA, and Michael Brown (Julianne) of Cheverly, MD; one sister, Lillian Mae Johnson (James) of Locust Grove, VA; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to count. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 26, 2017, from 10am until 11am with funeral services starting at 11am, Providence Baptist Church, 7498 Sumerduck Road, Remington, VA 22734.
