Meet Blue — and Champ!

Rappahannock News - - FROM PAGE ONE -

I’m Blue, how do you do? I came to RAWL as a stray, accompanied by my buddy Champ, who’s not pictured but is quite handsome as well. We’d been roaming around the countryside and sometimes dropping by the neighbors. We’ve visited here several times, but this time our owner never reclaimed us. That said, we’re both searching for a new home, though we don’t have to be adopted together. We are Pyrenees/ Australian Shepherd mixes, only 15 months old, weighing about 60 pounds. We’re very simple dogs really — quite happy, love to play, and well-behaved. So we are looking for a home — or homes — and perhaps a fenced yard to boot. And once we find our home(s) you better believe we’re stayin’ put!

Last week, six of my canine colleagues were joined with new owners. The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL), 160 Weaver Rd., Amissville, is open 7:30 to 1. Closed Wednesday and Sunday. Call 540-937-3283 or visit rawldogs.org.
