The guest speaker, will be Sergeant Kreighton Long, U.S. Army. Per­for­mances by Rap­pa­han­nock County High School Con­cert Band. Re­fresh­ments will be served to veter­ans and their fam­i­lies. Ira Chal­eff, a Rap­pa­han­nock res­i­dent, is acclaimed for his work on lead­er­ship and for high­light­ing the vi­tal role of fol­low­er­ship as well. The ti­tle of his talk is “What is In­tel­li­gent Disobe­di­ence and How Does it Ap­ply to Your Life and Times?” They’re free and all are wel­come.

➤ JEF­FER­SON­TON BREAK­FAST: The Jef­fer­son Ru­ri­tan Club to­gether with the Jef­fer­son­ton Com­mu­nity Cen­ter will hold its monthly all-youan-eat Coun­try Break­fast from 8 to 11 a.m., at the Jef­fer­son­ton Com­mu­nity Cen­ter, 5073 Jef­fer­son­ton Rd., Jef­fer­son­ton (Rts. 802 & 621 off Rt. 229).
