Tapestry of color

Rappahannock News - - FROM PAGE ONE -

Colorful autumn foliage in Rappahannock County is now past peak, according to the Virginia Department of Forestry, although “the muted colors still blend into a pleasing tapestry of gold, russet and burgundy.” This dazzling tapestry, hanging so to speak above a vintage hay rake, was captured on Poplar Ridge Lane outside the town of Washington on Sunday.
