➤ DARK SKIES: The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, together with the Rappahannock County Recreational Facilities Authority is planning to hold its next “dark sky” event at the Rappahannock County Park on Rt. 211, across from Little Washington, starting at 7:30 p.m. The main event will be a full moon and the planets Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn. There will be astronomers with telescopes and a night photographer with a spotting scope to allow you to take your own picture of the full moon with your cell phone. Everyone is invited to this fun-filled family event.
