Amazon cancels program with Lions

I am sorry to have to notify the community that Amazon has cancelled its association with the Rappahannock Lions Club. Until now, purchases at Amazon made through our website brought in a 4 percent commission to the Lions Club, which we distributed to our county fire and rescue squads.

Over the years, our “Shop Like a Lion” program brought in over $14,000.

Those who would like to support the Lions can still do so through the Amazon Smile program or with a donation directly to the Rappahannock Lions Foundation or through the Rappahannock Lions Club Facebook page.

We had a great run. We're saddened that Amazon chose to cancel something so beneficial to us all.
