Get to the front of the pack with these easy mods

RC Car Action - - CONTENTS - By Kevin Hetmanski

there are generally two classes you can compete in: Modified and Stock. In the Modified class, the doors are basically open and you can do what you have to do to win, but in the Stock class, the playing field is “leveled” by the motor that you run. A 17.5-turn motor has been chosen as the stock motor of the brushless-motor world that we live in, and it is supposed to provide everyone with the same level of performance. So that means that you have to focus on your driving and setup skills to be a step above the rest. All you have to do is drive the right line and make sure you follow a setup sheet, right? Well, that’s part of it. But there’s more that you can do to make your stock vehicle get around the track, and I’m here to show you how. Let’s get to work and speed up that stock racer.
