Choose the Right Battery
When the time to choose a battery comes, you’ll want to pick the right pack for the job. A high-quality pack is a must, and in this case, you get what you pay for, so don’t skimp here. Also make sure you get a pack with a high C rating; the higher you go, the lower the resistance the battery has. Also, pick up a battery with the lowest capacity that you can. A low-capacity pack is going to weigh less and, therefore, make your vehicle faster, but you have to make sure you can make it to the end of the race, so don’t go too far. Another benefit to a smaller pack is that it won’t take as long to charge.
