When planning a wedding in
three months, flexibility— and ingenuity—are key. “The American Swedish Institute was all booked up, or so we
thought,” says Adrienne. “We were able to wiggle our way in on a Sunday evening
with the agreement that we would have a long garden
party on the veranda and lawn while a concert finished
up inside.” For an hour and a half, guests sipped cocktails, nibbled Swedish meatballs and lingonberry sauce, and played kubb, a Scandinavian lawn game. Then Jason
welcomed the party indoors, where the good
times kept rolling.
