CH­ESTER­TOWN — Harry Buckie Har­ri­son, of Ch­ester­town, died March 24, 2016, at his daugh­ter’s home in Mag­no­lia, Texas, at the age of 65.

Harry is sur vived by his wife of 41 years, Pamela Hope Har­ri­son of Ch­ester­town; his daugh­ter, Beth McKnight, and her hus­band, Travis McKnight, of Mag­no­lia; his son, Ray Har­ri­son, and his wife, Anna Har­ri­son, of Ch­ester­town; and four grand­chil­dren: Hadley and Eas­ton McKnight and Rea­gan and Ge­or­gia Har­ri­son.

Harry was born Oct. 10, 1950, in Greenville, S.C., the son of the late Ray­mond M. Har­ri­son and Fran­cis E. Wil­liams. His fam­ily moved to Church Hill in 1959 and he grad­u­ated from Queen Anne’s County High School in 1969. Af­ter school, he worked in the fam­ily’s septic busi­ness, where he re­mained pres­i­dent of the com­pany, Harry’s Septic In­stal­la­tion, un­til his death.

Harry mar­ried his high school sweet­heart on Oct. 24, 1974, and they raised their fam­ily in Ch­ester­town. He en­joyed trav­el­ing with his fam­ily and shoot­ing sport­ing clays.

Harry and his wife were mem­bers of Ch­ester­town Bap­tist Church for 35 years, where he served as a Sun­day school teacher and a dea­con for a num­ber of years.

Vis­i­ta­tion was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs­day, March 31, at Fel­lows, Helfen­bein & New­nam Fu­neral Home, 130 Speer Road, Ch­ester­town. Ser­vices were held at 2 p.m. Fri­day, April 1, at Ch­ester­town Bap­tist Church.

In­ter­ment was at Crump­ton Ceme­tery fol­low­ing the ser­vice.
