Sheriff, Easter Bunny visit area hospitals

Record Observer - - News -

CENTREVILLE — Queen Anne’s County Sheriff Gary Hofmann and the Easter Bunny made their annual visit to area hospitals on Thursday, March 24. This year Talbot County Sheriff Joe Gamble and Kent County Sheriff John “Buck” Price joined in to handout stuffed bunnies to kids.

Fortunately this year there weren’t many sick kids, so a stop at the Learning Center at the hospital in Easton was made. Stops were also made to visit staff members and several elderly patients.

The Easter Bunny Foundation is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide a personal visit and a toy from the Easter Bunny and the local sheriff during the week of Easter to children in children’s hospitals and pediatric wards.
