left but threw right. He ended his ca­reer with a .286 bat­ting av­er­age, had 30 home­runs and bat­ted in 205 runs. He was also the first In­di­ans player to go six-for-six in a nine in­ning game, won by Cleve­land on Aug. 8, 1923, de­feat­ing the Se­na­tors, 22-2. He was also the first Cleve­land player to hit into an unas­sisted triple play on Sept. 14, 1923.
