An­i­mal Con­trol hosts train­ing

CEN­TRE­VILLE — Queen Anne’s County De­part­ment of An­i­mal Con­trol re­cently hosted train­ing classes with the com­pany An­i­mal Con­trol Train­ing Ser­vices.

The train­ing in­cluded field train­ing of­fi­cer cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, chem­i­cal im­mo­bi­liza­tion cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, tac­ti­cal com­mu­ni­ca­tion, and pep­per spray cer­ti­fi­ca­tion.

In ad­di­tion to Queen Anne’s, this train­ing brought an­i­mal con­trol of­fi­cers and de­part­ment di­rec­tors from Kent County; Bal­ti­more City; Jes­samine County, Ky.; New­port News, Va.; Prince Wil­liam County, Va.; the District of Columbia An­i­mal Con­trol; District of Columbia Hu­mane Law En­force­ment; AWLA of Ar­ling­ton, Va.; and Penn­syl­va­nia.
