SUDLERSVILLE — The May 16 Sudlersville town election has been canceled and current Commissioners Billy Faust and Kevin Kerr will each retain their seats for another three-year term. They were the only candidates to file by the April 18 deadline.

Faust said his main project in his next term as commissioner is to finish the waste water projects for the towns of Sudlersville and Barclay.

He said he ran for reelection was because he enjoyed helping the people and the town.

“I’m proud of being able to work with the ... commissioners that I have,” he said. “We have a great working relationship and things are getting done little by little.”

Kerr did not return a call for comment by deadline.
