POETRY MONTH This is National Poetry Month. We will have open poetry reading at the library on April 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. Please join us in celebration of National Poetry Month and listen as Christopher Nilo reads some original poems for us. ••• BOOK DISCUSSION
GROUP The Book Discussion Group at the Kent Island Yacht Club will meet on Thursday, April 28 at 6 p.m. to talk about “The Little Paris Bookshop” by Nina George. Internationally bestselling and filled with warmth and adventure, “The Little Paris Bookshop” is a love letter to books. It is meant for anyone who believes in the power of stories to shape people’s lives.
The May book discussion by this group will be on Thursday, May 26, and we will talk about “Kitchens of the Great Midwest” by J. Ryan Stradal.
••• APRIL STORY TIME The final April Story Time for all young people ages 2 to 5 with an adult, will be April 27 at 10:30 a.m. Come and enjoy stories, rhymes and a movement followed by a craft. Look for May fun dates coming!
