We will have open po­etry read­ing at the li­brary on April 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. Please join us in cel­e­bra­tion of Na­tional Po­etry Month and lis­ten as Christo­pher Nilo reads some orig­i­nal po­ems for us. GROUP The Book Dis­cus­sion Group at the Kent Is­land Yacht Club will meet on Thurs­day, April 28 at 6 p.m. to talk about “The Lit­tle Paris Book­shop” by Nina Ge­orge. In­ter­na­tion­ally best­selling and filled with warmth and ad­ven­ture, “The Lit­tle Paris Book­shop” is a love let­ter to books. It is meant for any­one who be­lieves in the power of sto­ries to shape peo­ple’s lives.

The May book dis­cus­sion by this group will be on Thurs­day, May 26, and we will talk about “Kitchens of the Great Mid­west” by J. Ryan Stradal.

••• APRIL STORY TIME The fi­nal April Story Time for all young peo­ple ages 2 to 5 with an adult, will be April 27 at 10:30 a.m. Come and en­joy sto­ries, rhymes and a move­ment fol­lowed by a craft. Look for May fun dates com­ing!

••• MORE FREE BOOKS Yes, the li­brary still has a cart or two filled with books that you may look over and take home with­out charge. They are free for the tak­ing. Please look them over to­day.
