Re­veal to speak at ESWA meet­ing

EAS­TON — The East­ern Shore Writ­ers As­so­ci­a­tion will host a meet­ing at the Eas­ton branch of the Tal­bot County Free Li­brary from 10 a.m. to noon Satur­day, April 23. The meet­ing is free and open to the pub­lic.

Ed­i­tor Ju­dith Re­veal will talk about the im­por­tance of edit­ing and what an author should look for and ex­pect from an ed­i­tor.

Over the past 10 years, Re­veal has edited more than 100 manuscripts. Her clients in­clude au­thors of fic­tion, busi­ness non­fic­tion, mem­oir and dis­ser­ta­tions. The author of sev­eral nov­els, her most re­cent non­fic­tion book is “The Four El­e­ments of Fic­tion: Char­ac­ter, Set­ting, Sit­u­a­tion, and Theme.”
