Jehovah’s Witnesses attend Circuit Assembly program
QUEENSTOWN — Local Jehovah’s Witnesses attended a Circuit Assembly program in Crownsville on Saturday, April 9. The theme for the program was “Imitate Jehovah,” taken from the scripture found in Ephesians 5:1.
Talks, inter views, demonstrations and personal experiences described how persons who apply Bible principles in their livers can develop a close relationship with Jehovah God and His son Jesus Christ. Numerous Bible verses were read as the audience followed along in the personal Bibles.
Practical suggestions were given to help all 997 who attended to become imitators of the faithful ones in the Bible by studying God’s word. Being “obedient from the heart to the pattern of teaching” was featured in the afternoon.
One of the highlights of the assembly on Saturday morning was the baptism of five people in demonstration of their dedication to Jehovah God.
This program was one of the many Circuit Assemblies that took place in various locations throughout the United States on this same weekend. Similar programs are conducted around the world for more than 8 million Jehovah’s Witnesses. All these meetings are open to the public, and no collections are taken.
