Clues for a Cure Scavenger Hunt is Sunday, May 15
GRASONVILLE — The Amazing Race Clues for a Cure Scavenger Hunt will take place Sunday, May 15, to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The event is one of the fundraisers sponsored by Justin Davis and his Narrows in on a Cure team. Davis is a candidate for the LLS Man of the Year.
Teams of two to six people each, will compete in a scavenger hunt in Grasonville, Stevensville and Chester. Tickets are $30 per person with proceeds going directly to LLS. The hunt is expected to last two to three hours.
Teams will meet at 1 p.m. on the beach area by The Jetty on Wells Cove Road to receive their first clue. The race is expected to begin between 1:30 and 2 p.m. There will be roadblocks and detours teams must complete throughout the race. Teams may donate $10 to the LLS campaign to skip a roadblock or detour.
Teams must have a charged camera phone, have reliable transportation and stay together (one car). Teams should be formed and tickets purchased in advance.
Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place teams.
