Festival adds corn hole competition
CENTREVILLE — For the first time corn hole contests will be featured at Bay Music Festival. Supporting the Centreville Lions with activity is a volunteer group of experienced tournament players. There will be a $5 fee to play. Half of entrance fees will benefit the Lions Club and half will be in a prize pool for the participants. Teams will be decided by the luck of the draw for partners. Everyone who plays will have an opportunity to play a skilled player. Dickie Booze of Centreville will be in charge of conducting the corn hole contests.
Twelve separate music groups will be performing on two stages beginning at 1 p.m. and running to 9 p.m.
The event includes a moon bounce and slide for youngsters, and the YMCA of the Chesapeake is providing games and activities. In addition, there will be the Phillips Wharf Fishmobile. There will be plenty of food and beverages (alcohol and nonalcoholic), as well as artisan vendors for attendees to peruse while listening to great music.
Free parking will be available on the grounds assisted by the Boy Scouts.
