COMPUTER CLASSES Our one-on-one computer classes will be held at the Centreville branch on June 14, at 3, 4 and 5 p.m., and again on June 15, at 9, 10 and 11 a.m.
••• ORGANIZE PHOTOS Registration will be required for the program of organizing your digital photos at the Kent Island branch on June 29, at 9:30 a.m. What does the pictures folder on your computer look like? Can you find what you’re looking for? This workshop will cover how to organize and label all those digital images so you can find them again.
••• KIDS READ FREE From June through Labor Day, the library will not charge fines on all children’s items (except for DVDs).
••• MAC GAL HELP Do you have a question with an Apple product? The Mac gal can help and no registration is necessary. Come in on Monday, June 20, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and get your questions answered.
BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP The library’s Book Discussion Group that meets at the Kent Island Yacht Club will be talking about the works of Sharyn McCumb on Thursday, June 23, beginning at 6 p.m. Sharyn McCumb is an award-winning Southern writer, best known for her Appalachian “ballad” novels, including the New York Times best sellers “The Ballad of Tom Dooley,” “The Ballad of Frankie Silver” and “Ghost Riders.”
••• BOOKS AFTER HOURS This book club is for adults 21 and over and will meet four times a year. The first session at the Centreville branch will be on June 24, at 7 p.m., and the book under discussion will be “Born to Run” by Christopher McDougall.
