Fa­ther’s Day cel­e­bra­tion of­fers free hair cuts

QUEEN­STOWN — Free hair­cuts will be provided at the Bay Coun­try Moose Fam­ily Cen­ter on Satur­day, June 18. Bar­bers across the Mid-Shore will pro­vide their ser­vices as part of the Fa­ther’s Day cel­e­bra­tion, “A Cut Above The Rest.” Gospel DJ “A Spir­i­tual Touch” will bring the en­ter­tain­ment for the day, and an all-you-can-eat break­fast will be avail­able for $7.

Pro­vid­ing the hair­cuts for the event will be Ed­ward’s All Stars of Caro­line County, Big Mixx and Trina’ty Beauty Sa­lon of Kent County, Out­law’s Bar­ber­shop of Tal­bot County and Cornez Court­ney of Queen Anne’s County.

Fes­tiv­i­ties be­gin at 7 a.m. and con­clude at noon. “A Cut Above The Rest” is a part­ner­ship of the Queen Anne’s County De­part­ment of Health, Cho­sen Gen­er­a­tions De­liv­er­ance Min­istry, Cit­i­zens Against Smok­ing Tobacco Coali­tion, and Queen Anne’s County Well­ness Coali­tion.
